Campers will be placed in cabins by age (which is determined by age in July). |
Each camper is given a bunk and mattress, but must provide his or her own belongings. Be sure to prepare for cold weather. |
Camp cannot be responsible for lost articles but shall establish a lost and found center . |
Boys: Dress modestly at all times. All shirts must have at least three-quarter length sleeves. Cut-offs and shorts should be worn only during time of swimming. Boys are to have hair cut above collar and ears, no “fad” cuts, (shaved sides & long on top) before they are admitted to camp! Clean, casual clothes are to be worn during evening services. |
Girls: Dress modestly at all times. All shirts must have at least three-quarter length sleeves. Wear casual dress to all functions. No slits, leggings, pants, shorts, or low necklines. No tight or see-through dresses or blouses. Dresses and skirts must be below the calf of the leg. |
During the week of camp, cell phones, walkie-talkies, I-pods, and electronic games will not be allowed. No jewelry of any kind is allowed. |
Each camper is expected to share in the work load of the camp in regard to grounds, and general cleanup. |
Foul language, disrespect, continual misbehavior, and leaving campus is grounds for dismissal. Parents are responsible for picking up camper if dismissal is required. |
Parents or responsible person must pick up campers on Thursday, July 27, no later than 10:00 a.m.Your promptness is extremely important. |
What to BringSleeping bag/bedding, pillow and towel.Bible, notebook and pen.Personal Items: soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc.Casual clothing. Please dress modestly while at Camp Sugar Pine.Closed toe shoes: boots/tennis shoes.Flashlight with new batteries.Spending Money for the Old Mill Cafe and additional Adventure Recreation activities.Casual modest clothing: warm and cool clothing, jacket.Sunscreen, sunglasses, modest swimwear. No bikinis unless worn with a colored T-shirt.Any prescribed medicine must be in its original container. Please clearly label all medications. |
Any child allergic to bees must bring their own anti-venom kit. None is available. Any child that has head lice will not be admitted. Any child diagnosed with head lice during camp must be picked up by parentor guardian immediately. |
Please make sure child has allergy or prescription medications they routinely use. |
Any child who has had a fever within three days of camp – please keep at home! |
